Overview

Zero-Dollar Recurring Add-Ons allow your club to create recurring add-on records with a $0.00 payment amount. This is ideal for providing members with recurring session packs — such as personal training or scheduler sessions — at no charge, without requiring any payment processing.

When a zero-dollar add-on is active, charges are generated on their normal schedule and are immediately marked as paid. Any associated personal training or scheduler sessions are dropped automatically for the member at that time. Zero-dollar add-on charges do not count as past due or delinquent and will not affect a member's club access or check-in.

Creating a Zero-Dollar Recurring Add-On

Once the feature is enabled for your club, you can create a recurring add-on with a $0.00 amount directly in Member Management.

1. Open the member's account in Member Management and navigate to the recurring add-ons section.
2. Begin creating a new recurring add-on record.
3. Set the Amount field to $0.00.
   • The Payment Method section and all related payment inputs will be automatically disabled while the amount is zero. No payment information is required or collected.
4. Complete the remaining fields (frequency, number of payments, etc.) and save the record.

Note: If the feature is not enabled for your club, the Amount field will require a value greater than zero and a payment method will be required.

How Zero-Dollar Add-Ons Work

Billing Method

When a recurring add-on is created with a $0.00 amount, the billing method is automatically set to Statement.

• The member's contract will reflect Statement as the recurring payment method.
• No payment information is stored on the record.
• Generated charges will carry a billing status of Statement and will not include payment details.

Charge Generation and Session Drops

Zero-dollar add-on charges are generated on their normal schedule based on the frequency and number of payments defined on the record.

• When a zero-dollar charge is generated, it is immediately marked as paid — no manual action is required.
• When a charge is marked as paid, any associated personal training or scheduler sessions are automatically dropped for the applicable member or cardholder.

Member Access and Delinquency

Outstanding (unpaid) zero-dollar charges are not treated as past due or delinquent and will not interfere with a member's club access or check-in.
