If you're seeing inactive membership notices throughout the MyClubAccess app, your membership is currently inactive or on hold. Here's what that means, where you'll see it, and how to resolve it.
What Does an Inactive Membership Mean?
Your membership is considered inactive when it has one of the following statuses:
- Canceled — the membership has been terminated
- Expired — the membership term has ended and has not been renewed
- Frozen / On Freeze — the membership has been temporarily paused, either at your request or by the club
- Collections — an outstanding balance has been sent to a collections process
If you are unsure why your membership is inactive or frozen, contact your club directly or reach out to ASF Member Services.
Where You'll See This in the App
When your membership is inactive, you'll notice the following throughout the app:
- Home screen — A banner indicating your membership is inactive with an option to reactivate

- Calendar — A "Membership inactive, contact club" notice in place of the class schedule

- Class detail view — A "Booking is paused" card with a Contact Club button in place of the Book Event button

- Settings > Account Details > Membership Details — Shows "No active membership"

What You Can and Can't Do With an Inactive Membership
While your membership is inactive, the following features are unavailable:
- Booking classes or events
- Joining a waitlist
- Viewing the class schedule in the Calendar tab
You will still be able to:
- View club information
- Access your account details
- Contact your club directly through the app
How to Reactivate Your Membership
To restore full access, your membership will need to be reactivated or unfrozen by your club. You can reach out in any of the following ways:
- Tap the Contact Club button on the Home screen banner or within the class detail view — this will initiate a call to your club's primary phone number
- Contact your club directly through any of their regular contact methods
- Contact ASF Member Services if you are unsure who to reach out to
ℹ️ As soon as your membership is reactivated, all inactive notices will disappear and full app functionality will be restored automatically — no app update required.
Frequently Asked Questions
I was reactivated — why does the app still show my membership as inactive?
Try closing and reopening the app to refresh your membership status. If the message persists, contact ASF Member Services for assistance.
Who do I contact if I'm not sure why my membership is inactive or frozen?
Reach out to your club directly or contact ASF Member Services.
Can I still see class details while inactive?
Yes. Class information such as the trainer, room, available spaces, date, and time remains visible — you just won't be able to book until your membership is active again.
My membership is frozen — do I still have access to the app?
Yes, you can still log in and view your account, but booking and scheduling features will be unavailable while the freeze is in place. Contact your club to discuss lifting the freeze.
