Dynamic Content (also referred to as Merge Tags) automatically updates based on the recipient’s information. In ClubOS, dynamic content can be used in email and text campaigns, as well as follow-up scripts.

When a message is sent, these fields are populated with the appropriate data for each recipient. Dynamic content appears in the format {{ }}—for example, {{recipient-first}} for First Name.

Configurable Dynamic Content

For dynamic content that relies on information not tracked in ClubOS (such as a location’s Instagram URL), these fields must be configured individually for each location. Custom fields are flexible and can be used as needed.

Club Admins can manage these fields by navigating to My Club > Location Settings. If the fields appear as read-only, please contact our Support Services Team to enable editing access or request that our team update the fields on your behalf.

Non-Configurable Dynamic Content

All other available dynamic content fields do not need to be configured, as ClubOS will use information contained within the application.

Follow Up Scripts

When configuring follow up scripts, dynamic content can be selected using the drop down menu in the Email and Text script type.

Email Campaigns

When creating an email campaign or template you can select dynamic content by selecting 'Merge tags' in the text editor. 

You can also copy the merge tag and insert it into the URL field for images, buttons, video or social media.

Text Campaigns

When creating content for a Text Campaign, you can select dynamic content using the ‘Insert Dynamic Tag’ link.
