Online Check-In is used to control and track members as they enter the facility, and to alert staff to any member issues at the point of entry.

Member Check-In Methods
Members can be checked in using one of two methods:
- Manual check-in by staff using the in-app account lookup
-
Automatic check-in using a reader device that scans:
- Barcode on printed membership cards
- Barcode on the ASF My Member Mobile App (Legacy)
- Barcode or QR code on the MyClubAccess or FitBudd Mobile App
Manual Check-In
To manually check a member in, use the Account Lookup section to search by one or a combination of the following:
- Account Number — searches against the member account number, with or without the cardholder sequence number, and alternate ID
- Phone Number — searches against home, mobile, and work phone numbers
- First Name — enter a full or partial name to return all matching results
- Last Name — enter a full or partial name to return all matching results

Additional filters are available to narrow search results:
- Members
- Prospects
- Employees
- Non Expired
- Active Only
Automatic Check-In
For clubs with staffed or monitored automatic check-in, a dedicated computer should be set up with the card reader connected and the Online Check-In screen open at all times. If a dedicated computer is not available, the desktop Online Check-In application can be installed on the connected computer — contact ASF Support for access.
Member Information
When a member is selected, the middle panel displays the following:
- Member Photo
- Member Name
- Alerts — displays a single alert per check-in. See Check-In Alert Options for a full list of possible alerts
- Member Details — includes membership type (offer code / card code) and membership expiration date
- Account Alerts — displays custom account messages, which can be edited using the pencil icon
- Recurring Add-Ons — displays all active recurring add-ons on the account
- Add-Ons Due — displays any add-on payments that are past due or upcoming

Upcoming Schedule
The left panel displays upcoming events, making it easy to schedule members at the point of check-in. After a member is checked in, they can be dragged and dropped from the Recent Check-Ins section onto an event to automatically schedule them.

Recent Check-Ins
The right panel displays members who have checked in that day. Clicking a member's name opens their Member Profile, while clicking anywhere else in their check-in card displays their details in the middle panel. Any check-ins with issues or alerts are highlighted for quick visual identification. Use the Attendance Report link to pull a full report of all check-ins for the day in one click.

Employee Check-In / Clock-In
Online Check-In can also be used for employee time management. Employees clock in using the same method as members — once clocked in, their name appears in the Employees On The Clock section. To clock out, an employee simply clicks their name in that section.
