Covid-19 Vaccination Status

The current recommended approach to support tracking vaccination status and blocking access accordingly is as follows:

Member Deactivation

Start with deactivating all club members - while this can be done manually, it is recommended to contact Client Support to initiate a mass account change. Once this is completed, all members will be inactive and blocked at club check in. Front desk staff can re-activate members at check in after collecting vaccination status. Clubs with limited staff hours are recommended to send out an email to all members informing them to come into the club during staff hours in order to verify their vaccination status and get re-activated.

Note: Clubs using Club Pro will need to request for member alternate IDs to be altered as well to block access as Club Pro does not block access based on status alone. The standard approach is for "CV" to be appended to the existing value.

Vaccination Tracking Attribute Setup

Use a member attribute to easily track member vaccination status. Recommended attribute setup:

Name: Covid-19 Vaccination Status

Type: List

List Values:

  • Unknown
  • Partially vaccinated, not verified
  • Partially vaccinated, verified
  • Fully vaccinated, not verified
  • Fully vaccinated, verified
  • Not vaccinated
  • Vaccination exempt (religious/medical)

It is recommended contact Client Support to set this to "Unknown" by default for all members.

Update Member Vaccination Status

As members attempt to check in and are blocked, they will be directed to speak with staff. The error will NOT specifically reference requiring vaccination status, so the first step for staff should be to confirm whether status has been collected by confirming the attribute value. If missing, record vaccination status in the attribute and re-activate the member.

Note: Clubs using Club Pro will need to additional reset the Alternate ID to be correct. If the standard approach of appending "CV" to existing value is used, then the reset is completed by removing "CV".
