EntrySentry Check-In Application

Automated member check-in and facility access control

EntrySentry is a standalone desktop application that automatically captures member check-ins, records attendance, and manages club access. Running quietly in the background, EntrySentry allows clubs to streamline their check-in process while maintaining secure facility access.

With support for barcode scanners, mobile QR codes, and automated doors or turnstiles, EntrySentry helps create a fast, contactless check-in experience for members while reducing the need for staff intervention.

Note: An internet connection is required for continuous operation.

Benefits of EntrySentry

Automated Background Processing

EntrySentry runs from the Windows taskbar and operates in the background to monitor check-in activity and control connected hardware.

Because the application works automatically, staff can stay focused on assisting members rather than manually monitoring check-ins.

Key advantages

  • Automated attendance tracking
  • No manual check-in process required
  • Staff can focus on member service

EntrySentry operates independently, meaning staff do not need to log into MyClubBusiness to manage check-ins.

Real-Time Check-In Updates

EntrySentry integrates directly with the Online Check-In application, ensuring that all check-ins are recorded immediately.

Desktop notifications provide instant feedback for each check-in event so staff can stay informed without interrupting their workflow.

Benefits

  • Real-time attendance tracking
  • Immediate scan confirmation
  • Non-disruptive notifications

Barcode Scanner Support

EntrySentry supports standard barcode scanners, allowing members to check in using barcode-based membership cards.

This is useful for clubs that provide:

  • Custom membership cards
  • Barcode-based member IDs
  • Printed barcodes from MyClubBusiness

Automated Door and Turnstile Access

EntrySentry can integrate with supported doors and turnstile hardware to automate facility access.

When a valid member check-in occurs:

  • Doors or turnstiles automatically unlock
  • Members receive immediate access confirmation
  • Unauthorized access attempts are prevented

This helps create a smooth entry experience while maintaining facility security.

Mobile QR Code Check-Ins

Members can check in using QR codes from the club’s mobile app, eliminating the need for physical membership cards or key fobs.

Advantages include

  • Increased security
  • Faster check-ins
  • Reduced need for replacement cards

24-Hour Access Monitoring

EntrySentry continuously monitors check-in activity to protect your facility at all hours.

Even after staffed hours, the system remains active to record attendance and manage door access.

Note: An internet connection is required for continuous operation.
