Login Verification

Login Verification is a security feature designed to help prevent unauthorized access to your account.

If your club has this feature enabled, ClubOS will require verification when it detects a login attempt from a new location. To continue, you’ll need to click a verification link sent to the email address associated with your ClubOS account.

Here's how the verification flow works:

1. Login Attempt from a New Location

When you log in from an unrecognized location, you’ll see a message prompting you to check your email for a verification link. For security purposes, part of your email address will be displayed (with the rest masked) to help you identify which inbox to check.

2. No Email Address on File

If your account does not have an email address associated with it, you’ll be prompted to contact a club admin or ClubOS Support to add one. Once your email address is added, you’ll need to log in again to trigger a verification email.

3. No Access to Your Email

If you cannot access the email address on your account, contact a club admin or ClubOS Support to update it. After your email is updated, log in again to receive a new verification email.

4. Complete Verification

When you receive your verification email, you must click on the unique link in the email and log in again with your user name and password. Other important notes about the verification email:

  • The link is valid for 15 minutes.
  • Reminder: Club OS will never contact you to ask you for this URL.

5. Trusted Locations

Once you’ve successfully verified your login, future logins from that same location will not require verification.

Important Notes:

  • You must click the verification link from the same device and location where the login attempt was made
    • Example: If you log in on your computer, you must open the link on that same computer
    • If you open the link on a different device (like your phone), the original device will not be verified
  • If your account does not currently have an email address, you may also see an in-app notification prompting you to add one for future security
